BREAKING! The Eviction Problem Just Got WORSE 😧

The eviction moratorium has completely expired and the US Supreme Court ruled against the CDC wanting to extend the moratorium. In addition to this, recently the Federal Unemployment Benefit also expired this week and the Biden Administration has no intention of bringing the unemployment benefit back as the economy is starting to open up.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uaTUQruQjKQ In this video, I’m going to unpack what this all means and how real estate investors could potentially benefit from the eviction

Housing Market… being destroyed by the Stimulus?

Housing Market… With the second stimulus bill moving quickly through the government and it looks like everyone will be getting, at least, $600 check from the stimulus package. But what does the stimulus package mean outside of free money? What does this mean for our economy? And most importantly, how will it affect the housing market? In this video, I will be giving you my take on the whole ordeal and what the future will be looking like for generations to come. Email Us: [email protected] Article: Evictions loom for as many as 20 million Americans who are behind on rent. That’s about the population of Florida. http://businessinsider.com/millions-of-americans-are-behind-on-rent-risk-of-eviction-2020-12#:~:text=Up%20to%2020%20million%20Americans,rent%2C%20risk%20eviction%20-%20Business%20Insider&text=The%20word%20%22Insider%22.&text=A%20leading-edge%20research%20firm%20focused%20on%20digital%20transformation 0:00 Intro 1:05 The cost of the stimulus 3:00 Where does stimulus money come from? 4:10 How does this affect the housing market? 6:43 My initial thoughts on the stimulus 9:33 Data points to my argument 11:32 The Kwak Brothers giveaway With the stimulus looking like it will be signed into law here in the next few days, pending Senate approval, many ask the question, “who’s paying for this?”. Obviously, it’s not President Trump himself, but The Federal Reserve has a lot to do with it, but have you thought about, ourselves? YES! But not you and I, more like, our grandchildren. And the effect of the massive government spending in 2020, will be seen in the Social Security Fund. Many times when the government borrows money for social programs, it literally is being borrowed from the taxpayers without consent. And with the Fed’s balance sheet getting bigger by the month, it’s sitting at almost $7 Trillion dollars, and if this stimulus passes, it’ll add even more! So how is this connected to the real estate market? Well, it takes people to buy homes in the real estate market. Rental Assistance | Explained & How to be first in line

If you’re a tenant, a landlord. or even a property manager – The COVID Relief package has finally passed a few days ago which includes $25 billion of funding towards rental assistance, In this video, I’m going to break down what you have to do get rental assistance and how you qualify in a super easy to understand break down. As a landlord myself and a tenant – this is a HUGE break that all tenants and landlords were waiting for. So again, if you’re a tenant – share this with your landlord. If you’re a landlord or a property manager, this is going to help your tenants so please watch very carefully. Also, share this video with your friends and family who need help with rental assistance. Also with the $25 billion dollars funding towards rental assistance, the eviction moratorium has been extended to January 31st, 2021. So here’s how this works… The funds will be disbursed to the local and state housing agencies which then will begin administering the rental relief payments to the landlords or to the tenants. Now… how fast you can get rental assistance ultimately depends on your local and state government. In states like New York and California, they already have the infrastructure in place to start disbursing the payments. So I imagine that these states will start releasing the rental assistance first. But here’s what I’m going to suggest if you want to be in front of the line or at least close to being first to receive the assistance. Now whether you’re a tenant, landlord, or a property management company, here’s a very GOOD suggestion from our good friend over at MeetKevin. Start gathering records like your lease, any contracts, put together a list of all the months you’ve missed rent, any late fees, late utility payments, statements, and all the bills related to your housing. As far as who gets the money, the landlord and the utility companies can be paid directly by the state and the local government but… the application has to be signed off by the tenant. So the money ultimately goes to the landlord. If the landlord refuses to take the aid, the one tenant can apply and receive the funds. Okay, so now that we got that one out of the way, the question remains… Who qualifies? So here it is… Tenants are eligible for the rental assistance program if their household income is below 80% of the area median income. And it also applies to other household members of the tenants that live there that someone living there that Has qualified for unemployment benefits, has lost part of their income or has experienced financial hardship because of Covid-19, or ultimately … Can show that they are at risk of losing their home. Gather all the documents from the unemployment benefits and find proof that you’ve lost your job or your income because of COVID-19. So right now, there’s no centralized place where you go to apply for this… You’ll need to contact your local or state government’s housing services to get the latest information and application to apply.

EIDL Grant is now CLOSED & Second Stimulus Check UPDATE!

EIDL Grant is now CLOSED & Second Stimulus Check UPDATE! The FREE $10,000 SBA EIDL Grant has been CLOSED! What does that mean? Can you still get the SBA EIDL Loan? Can I still apply for the Paycheck Protection Program? Well, I breakdown everything here and unpackage what you need to know in regards to the EIDL Grant, the Paycheck Protection Program, and I also give an update on the Second Stimulus Check and what you can expect! RIP to the free $10K EIDL Grant 😭 But you can still apply for the EIDL loan, which still needs to be paid back and can not be forgiven. Just as a quick refresher as to what you can actually use the EIDL Loan for general operating expenses; utility costs, lease for your office space, mortgage payments, payroll, inventory obligations. But you CAN NOT use the EIDL Loan for expanding business, buying a franchise, buying any fixed assets, or can’t use the money to actually pay off your mortgage. EIDL Grant Questions Answered + Hidden Process https://youtu.be/keySGMPvRjU If you applied for the EIDL Grant before July 12, 2020, I think you will be safe and still in consideration for the free $10,000 EIDL Grant. However, if you are just submitting for that now, you may have missed the chance for the free $1k-$10k EIDL Grant but you will still be considered for the EIDL Loan! Moving on to the Paycheck Protection Program, it is STILL OPEN but with just how the EIDL Grant just closed, you can expect the same thing to happen to the Paycheck Protection Program, so if you plan on applying for the PPP, DO IT NOW! And don’t forget the PPP is open to people who are self-employed and rumor has it, the entire funding can be forgiven completely, just make sure to verify with your lender beforehand! NOW! The Second Stimulus check update! So the HEROS act has been shot down in the Senate and by President Trump. BUT the Senate is working on a second stimulus check program that COULD be given out. And within the second stimulus check guidelines, if you make less than $40,000 a year, you could qualify for a second stimulus check. And even on the White House side, President Trump is in favor of a second stimulus check. Now for the unemployment checks, for one, they are set to expire at the end of July. But there may be another extension signed into law by Congress and the Senate here shortly with a smaller amount. But others have speculated that it could be mandated by the State of residence.
